FAQs for Ultimate Coaches

Q
Am I covered to coach online?
A

If you are coaching online you are covered but you need to take the following actions.

At the start of every session make the participants aware that they are participating at their own risk, a suitable non-slip floor is required and no potential obstructions are in the vicinity, avoid activities if they have, or suspect that they have any current medical conditions, injuries, aches or pains. You must also advise them to avoid any blades, weapons or sharp instruments of any description, they must also avoid any physical contact with other participants and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Ensure that sessions are conducted for the benefit of existing members/participants who have demonstrated sufficient suitability to participate,

Only instruct activities that you are qualified to do so.

It is recommended that each session is recorded and retained for up to 36 months as this will assist in defending any claim made against you.
